02 Sep East of Scotland Tennis & Padel announce new partnership with Scottish sportswear brand VSN SPORT

The partnership will see VSN SPORT work alongside East of Scotland Tennis & Padel as it continues to develop participation and competition across both sports, while providing clubs and players with access to specialist sportswear and teamwear.

This comes at an important time for East of Scotland who support and engage with the 53 regional clubs and the 3500+ Tennis players who play regularly in events run by East of Scotland.

The rapid growth of Padel in the East is also creating new commercial opportunities to attract participants of all ages and develop new competitions, clubs and player pathways.

As part of the partnership, VSN SPORT will work with East of Scotland Padel community to better understand the specific clothing and teamwear requirements of players, and the different requirements from Tennis. This insight will help the Scottish company develop and specialise its Padel offering.

Viki Mendelssohn, Chair of East of Scotland Tennis & Padel Association, said:

“Tennis already has an incredibly strong club network with 53 clubs across East, while Padel gives us a fantastic opportunity to build something new as participation grows. Having a partner that wants to listen to players and clubs and use that insight to develop its products is particularly exciting. The new ranges developed will be worn by all East of Scotland representative from our U8’s to our Senior teams.

“We see this as a partnership that can grow with us and deliver real value to our clubs, players and the wider tennis and padel community by offering things like club shops where clubs can develop their own merchandise and create new revenue streams.”
