A highlight in the annual competition calendar, the flagship tournament for East of Scotland Tennis takes place in May each year.

The East Open is a Grade 3 tournament and welcomes competitors from across the country, and all results will count towards ITF rankings.

Entry is open to junior, senior and vet players, wheelchair tennis and players with learning disabilities, for singles and doubles in tennis and padel.

Juniors usually play the first weekend, with the finals taking place the second weekend. Seniors and Vets play the second weekend.

The finals and prizegiving are held at Craiglockhart Tennis Centre on the last Sunday of the tournament.

Free entry for spectators, all welcome.

Entry fees:
From £5.00 – £20.00 per entry

Players will have access to sports massage and water stations during the tournament. It’s free to spectate, bring your family and friends.

Prize fund
The total prize fund for 2024 is £5,000.

Prizes are awarded across men, women and juniors, and both singles and doubles competitions!

Edinburgh Parks Singles Centenary Cup

Running alongside the East Open 2024 is the Centenary Cup, which is open to men in VMH East of Scotland League Division 3 and under and for women in VMH East of Scotland League Division 2 and under.
